Got one more week and i have to get back to work :(  Hopefully by then ill have moved into my new apartment.  This month i spent so much i barely have enuff to eat :(

Yesterday I spent all day lying on mattresses/beds so i can determine what suits me best, tell u what, beds are so fucking expensive so are sofas! anyway i bought a sleepmaker inspiration bed (king single size) for 1000 bucks and a swivel office chair (the one that can go up and down) it was really comfy and i got it for 89 bucks on special :)

TEll u what i u do decide to buy pc speakers, the logitech z680 5.1 speakers is great value for money, the subwoofer gives u the pumping bass to make your walls shake!  I didnt get 7.1 speakers cos basically there isnt anything that will support 7.1 output anyway.  I got audigy 2 platinum pro but in retrospect, i could have got any audigy 2 cos the gay box well lets say its still in its original packaging after i put it back. unless u are musician or composer or listen via headphones, go get the gamer version insteead.  As for graphics card, i got best of the best.  Now if u want to buy one too, u will need a big new power supply. i got 550w antec server psu cos i got like 6 250gb hdd ad well as other shit that needs a lot of power.  I got artic cooler for my amd chip and my pc is sooo quiet u dont even know its on even though there are like fans all the way down the front and on top and on the side!  if you boot from cold, the gforce 6800 ultra graphics card will make big noise but it quietens down after the first 2 or 3 seconds. btw the 6800 ultra by leadtek is sli ready so if i ever have spare money and want some out of the ordinary 3dmark score, i can just buy one when its on special.

i have all my sata 250gb (4 of them) put in a raid so the pc treats it as a gigantic 1tb hdd.  now that was a silly decision cos only 4 partitions can be created so it fucked my plans up when i discorvered that after already moving a couple of gb of stuff.  anyway not to worry ill defrag my old pc when i move all stuff off a partition at a time and format the partitions and then move stuff back and maybe repartition the new hdd cos i made the appz and gamez iso partition too small :( intitially i wanted to create a separate 100gb one for gamez but then found the gay 4 partition limitiation so the rest of space i put for music vidz. 

ok for the compro tv tuner card, its da bomb, i can record tv shows but in australia the gay free to air shows are so boring and i dl all my tv anyway still if there is something special i can record it :)

xp media center edition 2005 is pretty kewl but its a pity theres no way i can play all media files eg vidz in a folder i have to go click on 1 file at a time, not good if u have lots of porno in split files and u are jerking off.. wait little brother, i need to get the remote lol

Meanwhile back in lalaland, ive been busting my ballz downloading the aeon flux 2.5gb torrent, its been like 2 weeks and i got 1gb at 1.5k/s to 3.1k/s average so the dream is still alive... its the best animation so ill have it in my lovely new partition for friends and family :)  its interesting to know that even though i capped my azureus upload to 1k/s (cos my dl is only 1.5k/s so im not giving more to those leechers lol), i uplodaed a full cd already (share ratio is 0.7)

 The logitech mx1000 laser mouse is da bomb, its got horizontal and vertical scrolling lots of useful buttons and playing half life 2 with it was seamless.  highly recommended.  some old games might not support it though eg tombraider angel of darkness pc didnt support it.

when i move ill connect to fast internet, i just cant wait cos i keep missing out on the end of some rars cos ftp dies.

if u read my other page, i managed to network my old pc windows server 2003 to my new pc xp mce2005.  my old pc is the internet pc and my new one is the storage pc...the steps in summary:

1 setup a home network to share files and internet on my new xp it will then create a floppy disk (thank god i bought a usb floppy drive with my new pc cos all my pc do not have a floppy drive lol)

2 setup home network on windows server 2003 using the floppy created

3 create a user called "storage" and give password so the xp pc can connect to my w2k3 server

4 for all the w2k3 server folder/partitions i want to share with my xp pc, i rightclick, properties and then go sharing and then uncheck the share this folder and click apply then reclick it.  Now this is the step that wasted 5 hours of my time as i couldnt figure out how to get rid of the $ sign after the partition letter.  if there is $ sign that means other pc cannot view that folder/partition.  this simple step fixes that.

5 again in properties permissions, add the user "storage" to have all access to each folder/partition u want to share and thats it, maybe u need to reboot and then click on my network places and then locate your network name (ps i used "home" for my network for easy to remember) and it will detect the home network and then u can see all the folders/parittions u shared and voila u have a lan hee hee

i got a week left of my holidays i would go on a trip but i cant afford it :( ill have to save up for a few months before i can afford a sony dvd handycam. without handycam theres no point for me going on trip. its like when i was in pc shop, there was this stupid girl who came into shop and cried cos her digital camera storage broke down or something nad she needed it for her honeymoon.  ive been meaning to do those gay photoshop cs tutorials and read the ebooks but i think ill first get the handycam and take some photos so i have a goal ie ill be doing something with the photos as opposed to reading every single page and not applying it.
